Psst... you are invited!

We want you to try our video service risk-free. So we created a free trial program to help you discover if Ocams works for your club.

How does the free trial work?

In summary:

  1. We send you all the equipment at no cost to your club. This includes wires and other installation accessories.
  2. You take care of the physical installation, which is simple enough for you to handle in-house. The total installation time should equal to no more than the number of courts x 2 person-hours.
  3. We run your video service (recording, distribution, and livestreaming) for 4 weeks at no cost to your club.
  4. At the end of the free trial period, you decide if you would like to continue. If yes, that's fantastic! If not, we understand, and you would simply need to ship all the equipment back to us.

What does Ocams need from the club?

We require a security deposit of $1,000 per court. If you decide to continue the service after the trial period ends, the full deposit amount will be credited towards your bill.

If you decide not to continue, you will receive the full deposit amount back as long as:

  1. We receive all the equipment back in time and in good condition. (Normal wear and tear is fine.)
  2. You meet all the deadlines set in the free trial timetable.
  3. You provide the necessary support during the trial period.

What does the timetable look like?

You will receive all equipment within 10 business days of submitting the total deposit amount.

The rest of the timetable looks like this example below. The last column specifies the amount of penalty (as % of total deposit amount) that will be assessed if you miss a due date.

We will finalize the details of the timetable together with you to ensure that you will be able to successfully complete each milestone.

Why is there such a strict timetable?

We want the free trial to be as informative as possible for you, your team, your members, and us. In this spirit, it is crucial for everyone to be as focused and engaged as possible throughout the free trial period. Whether Ocams ends up being a great fit for your club or not, the real answer is revealed when everyone puts forth their best effort.

What kind of support does the club need to provide during the free trial?

We are the Tennis Video on Autopilot company, so we want your club to sit back and relax as much as possible.

From time to time, however, we may have some questions for you. For example, there may be some discrepancies between the events or players listed on the court scheduling system and the actual events or players in the video. In such cases, we would need you to help us resolve the issue(s) within 24 hours.

We also ask that you let us request feedback from your members and staff so we can all learn how well the video service works at your club.

What does the installation process entail?

We will guide you every step of the way. Here are the steps:

Step 1

Figure out where to store the video server.

The video server is the size of an average PC console. You will need to connect the server to the club's internet modem/router, so the room where you keep your modem/router is probably a good place for the video server.

Step 2

Connect us with your network administrator.

The network administrator is the person (or company) who manages your IP addresses and firewalls. We will need to ask them to modify some of your network settings to allow livestreaming.

Step 3

Run ethernet wires from the video server to each court.

We will help you plan this step in detail so you can execute it as efficiently as possible. Always remember to measure twice and cut once ✂️.

Step 4

Mount the cameras and connect them to the video server.

It is extremely important to perfectly center each camera relative to the court. Please use exact measurements instead of simple eyeballing.

Step 5

Bring the video server online.

Connect the video server to the internet modem/router. Hook up a monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard to the video server. Make sure that it can access the internet. Install a remote connection software, which will then allow us to take care of the remaining setup steps.

Step 6

Make final camera adjustments.

This step entails slight nudging or rotating of the cameras to make sure all the courts are properly framed. And now your video service is ready to begin!

How many courts are included in the free trial?

The free trial includes up to 5 courts.

If your club has 5 courts or fewer, we require that all courts are included in the free trial. This is because your players will enjoy the best experience when they get their video sent to them every time they play, as opposed to only when they play on certain courts.
