Ocams is headquartered in New York City. Our team members work remotely around the globe. We are growing and we are hiring.
We are driven to help tennis players everywhere forge a path to mastery through self knowledge. We want to realize a future in which cameras on tennis courts are as ubiquitous as mirrors in dance studios.
Ocams is guided by the following core values:
In Wendy’s previous life—before cofounding Ocams—she was a scientist. Wendy studied molecular biology at MIT, managed a neuroscience laboratory at Harvard Medical School, and earned a PhD in applied economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. For her dissertation, she designed computational network models to represent different aspects of information processing.
While finishing up her PhD, Wendy discovered the joy of tennis and the magical powers of video. She was convinced to put her analytical skills, methodical approach, and technical acumen to good use by removing unnecessary frictions from filming, video processing, and streaming.
At Ocams, Wendy leads technology, product, and business developments, and manages day-to-day video operations.
Wendy can be reached at: wham@ocamsclub.com
Joe cofounded Ocams on top of an already distinguished career as a tennis professional in NYC. He was Captain of Columbia University Varsity Tennis, Tennis Director at East River Tennis Club (for 25 years), and founder of ACE-IT (one of NYC’s largest junior programs). Joe has been Tennis Director at CityView Racquet Club since 2007.
With over 40 years of teaching experience, Joe knows that nothing empowers a student more than self-knowledge, and so he wants to give every tennis player easy access to video.
At Ocams, Joe helps clubs develop a great video program that’s tailored to their membership. He also creates original instructional content (such as the Tip of the Week series) and oversees the tennis components of product development.
